Fault Code

Driving home from shopping just now and picked up a check engine light. Shows as code P0461. Any ideas what it is? Checked the gas cap and it is tight.

It's to do with your fuel level sensor, if google is right. Do a VCDS scan, as the OBDII codes are often overly vague. Clear it, and see if it comes back.

Suspect the fuel level sensor is the problem. I was by the dealership complaining about the gas gauge yesterday. It hasn't worked correctly since they had to replace my fuel tank after it was punctured. I just hope the tank doesn't have to come out again.

Just got a call from the Dealer. They claim the only problem was I needed "a software update" for the fuel sensor. We will see, but I'm skeptical. On my way to pick it up.
