MMI version
hi all,
i bought an April 2011 4.2 TDI over the weekend. its going to be my new best friend (it allready is). i have a lot of plans with it, wheels, spoiler etc.
but first the necessary.
i am going to bring it in to the stealer, im not getting electric power from the cigarette lighter in front and my AMI displays "not supported" when i connect my ipod (i use the cable from my 2008 Audi a8) and now also doesnt charge the ipod anymore
ami i suspect/hope its a question of cable replacement, as well as replacing a fuse (found some threads)
i also wonder if its worthwhile to let audi update the MMI to the latsets version? how often do these updates come around? does anybody know the current version number of MMI (german car)
if its worthwhile i request the update, and i also will verify the last (if any) oil change of the gearbox
ill post some pictures soon; iv had an a8 since some years, but this one is a lot better than my 2008
) quite happy with it
ill post up a "plan of attack" what i want to change on the car (mild visual styling)
