Does rear wheel steer increase or decrease rear tire wear?

Any long term observations here? (I think the real world answer is "negligible")

In theory would the rear tires exert less or more side grip, when turned opposite to the front tires?

What about when they turn in same direction with the front tires at higher speeds?

I have 38k miles right now on the original Good Year OEM tires and the wear on my tires is pretty even on all 4 tires. I would say there is no effect on tire wear as a result of rear wheel steering.

If anything it should decrease tire wear however the net effect is probably nil because the front tires should wear out faster and by a comfortable margin like in every other car.
