A6 headlight problem
I check the fuses are good anyone know which relay is for low beams and where is it no info in the car manual and going nusts trying to chacce it down in the bently. The older bently manuals were better they showed you whhere to find the relay
I do not recommend replacing with a junk yard switch or cleaning the existing switch. I do recommend buying a new switch assembly online (about $130). For example <a href="http://www.autohausaz.com/search/product.aspx?sid=gvgoqo55cuxgf0fyporofg2o&makeid=8 00002@Audi&modelid=1008863@A6%20QUATTRO%20%20&year =1997&cid=18@Electrical%20%26%20Vacuum&gid=4832@Tu rn%20Signal%20Switch">PN 4D0-953-513C here</a> for a 97 A6.
You'll have to remove the airbag & steering wheel to get at the switch. Check out the <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6100/msgs/31818.phtml">100/A6 FAQ</a> for the procedure.

I did line up a new headlight switch in case I was not able to effect a repair, but in the end, it was not neccesary.
