Major problem? Help Please
Then I'd start GENTLEY rotating the engine clockwise using the big 12 point nut on the crank until the mark on the front pulley lined up with the scribed timing mark on the plastic cover on top of the pulley.
IF you feel any resistance, i.e. piston hitting a valve I'd stop, loosen the timing belt, move the camshaft by hand a bit, and continue on.
The mark on the main pulley will line up with the scribed mark then the cams are in 2 different positions, 180 degrees apart. I forget if the big holes on the cam sprockets are supposed to be on the inside or outside, but someone else will remember (or I can find a photo somewhere).
You may get lucky and get everything lined up without having to screw around with turning the cams by hand, or it might be a nightmare getting it set back up. I'd want to have an extra set of hands or two to make the process go easier.

One timing tool is a pin that goes in the crank sensor hole under the car and locks the crank in place. The other tool holds the cams in place...as such (looks like big holes are "in"):
