Default Diff. Lock Vacuum Lines

Does anyone know where I can buy the mulit-colored (Blue, Green, Yellow, Red)vacuum lines for the Diff. Lock?

What type of vacuum line is this, fabric braided? Or could I substitute the black braided lines instead? I would like to restore to the original look.

Does anyone have a picture of the factory lines?

Last question, what is the diameter of these lines?

Default If you later decide to skip out on the factory look

just pick up some silicone vacuum hose. Will outlast the car. They don't rot, are impervious to heat and oiuls. Good stuff.

You can just see the blue & yellow lines next to my tranny tunnel in the photo above.

Default You wouldn't happen to have more pics of the roll cage?

Most likely I'm gutting the 4K and putting a cage in. Just curious about the mount plates and front spars. Would love to have some pics for reference.

TIA!

Default Just for DE activities...no intent for SCCA stuff with that car.

I've been running my A6 on the track for several years, it's just too big, heavy and nice for the track.

The 4000 stuck in my head as a fun old quattro to use the the ACNA events. A friend GAVE me a 86 4csq that needs a motor. I have the motor and am considering stripping it down with cage and seats. On the other hand, I may keep it road legal to drive for now.

It's all just a thought right now...any experience you'd like to share? I'm all ears.

Default Awesome...couple questions

That's a heck of a roll cage!

Did you go through the rear wall into the trunk for the rear supports? I'm assuming down to the frame rails.

Did you replace the gas tank with a fuel cell or any issue with the tank location?

I like how far forward you have the front supports as it should provide decent foot protection.

Thanks for putting those up.
