Rear Diffential Seal 857 525 400a
This seal has gone NLA, with no replacement.....It's the big non-standard seal.
However, some of the guys in the UK have got together to get tooling made up to make this seal. They need a total buy of 60 items to make it worth while, and i guess that there will be no upper limit on supply.

Another alternative...
.... is to swap in the AEC code rear diff. from the B3. Its a drop in replacement on 4kqs and even came from the factory on later model year cars. Its larger seal appears to still be available (for $15!). I'm sure UrQ folks could use these seals though, the later style for those cars is tough to come by in the US.

Only an alternative if you have a 4:11 final drive ratio. Ur quattros are 3:89
They also use the smaller 100mm (vs. 108mm on the ur quattro) flanges so on an ur quattro you would have to change the inner CVs on the ur quattro axles. In addition, the later diffs with bolt on mount require spacers to bolt in to an ur quattro, as the subframes are different. It gets messy. So, I would NOT consider the AEC rear diff as an alternative to the ur quattro rear diff.
For those that plan on keeping their ur quattros, getting a seal is a VERY good idea. They are very leak prone, and the diff will fail if you run it dry.
