alignment problem

Default alignment problem

I have too much positive camber on my right front wheel, the adjustment at the top of the strut tower is as far as it will go towards the engine. Any suggestions. Bushings look ok, never be wrecked. Left side is fine. I'm wearing my outside tire edge.

Outside edge - Sounds more like toe in than camber.

Perhaps, but does this explain why my camber angle is still positive and cannot be adjusted more negative because the strut is adjusted in it's mount all the way towards the engine? I figured I could not adjust the toe until I had gotten the camber settings correct.

Not sure. I had Tires Plus do the last two on mine. Seems well worth the $40 ~ and I got to watch and help. They seemed to care about getting it right.

Default suggest taking it to an alignment shop

suggest going to a small shop where you can talk to the guy doing the work. The alignment equipment will tell if something is bent. Can't cost that much. You may need a tie rod or ball joints. Rooster

If anybody cares, I looked very closely at the control arm and compared it to the left side. It turns out that it was horribly bent. From the looks at most of the ones at the wrecking yard these must be a weak spot. Finally found one that was straight with a good bushing for 5 bucks. New one was about 80. Since the car cost me $600, as long as the ball joint had no play I was good to go and was able to adjust the camber to spec. after wrestling it in.
