Any good ideas how to resore the look of the plastic Quattro emblems.

Some I've seen look chrome but I know they are plastic. Front grill TURBO, Rear hatch AUDI 5000cs, QUATTRO.
Will "chrome" paint work? Can they acually be chromed? How about new replacements?

From my experince with spray paints, DO NOT use chrome because it doesn't work, its not really chrome and it bonds extremly poorly to metal things, but im not sure about plastics, it will work better on plastic but im not sure how well.

you can get them 'real' chromed

sort of..

im not sure how they do it. they use some kind of paste as a primer first (i think), and then they chrome that.

i think.
heh.

phone up a local chrome joint and ask them about doing plastic decals for you.

Try an art supply store

Seems to me I have seen silver trasfer paper, similar to gold leaf. Then give it a shot of clear.

Search the web for a Canadian outfit that does "chrome plating" on plastic. Had one of my Mopar dashes done there a few years ago, $180.00 for a complete '64 dash.
