Muffler
Hey guys my rear muffler has a hole in it and it wont pass inspection. i dont want to put the money to get two brand new mufflers which i need cause i guess the mid muffler is an aftermarket piece of crap that is all messed up but it isnt leaking so i dont need to replace it, and i just want to replace the rear muffler by getting one off a car at the junk yard if this is possible. so thats my question is if i can go to a junk yard and pull a muffler off that isnt leaking and rusty. i am hoping to buy a new A4 soon and just dont want to waste the money on a new muffler when i dont care at all about it being nice. i just want it to pass.

apply JB Weld to the muffler...........
with the muffler warm after running the car. The heat will help the JB Weld harden that much faster, and seal that much quicker. It should work well. JB Weld is amazing stuff.
