roof/ski rack

cant seem to track down a rack for my v8q. does anyboday know what works?

Get a Yakima or Thule box. No sense exposing your bindings to the mess you find on winter roads.

I've got a thule universial set up I need to see if it fits T-44's.

From: Richmond VT...spend a lot of time in Castiine Maine though.

i know for the 5k yakima was the only company that made a base for it.

yea i checked yakima but there is no v8 quattro listed and i do not want a box. i actually like the wind deflector set up

Yakima does make towers that fit the V8. I have a set with their crossbars upon which I mount a flat platform made of Oak I use to haul stuff that's too big to go into the trunk or through a door. You could put ski racks on the bars in the Yakima system, I believe.

They don't list a V8, but they should (at least used to) list a 200, and the bodies are the same. There are little diamond arrows above each door to show the Audi-recommended mounting place.

I can't remember which tower number it is, but they did have 'em at one point. Unfortunately, the towers/bars I have are in Michigan and I'm in Colorado for the winter.
