Something binding in reverse
1985 5000S Automatic - When I shift into reverse it feels like something is binding in the transmission. I have to rev the engine to 2-3KRPM to get it to move. When in drive everything seems to work fine. The transmission was rebuilt 3-4 years ago. I don't think the problem is in the brakes or axles, as there isn't any torquing in the steering wheel or body lift or dip when I am reving it up against this resistance. Any ideas what could be going on inside of the AT or differential?
