Not on my 5000 QT unless it is a well kept secret. Or do you mean the little one gallon red container that gets to go with me on road trips?

your fuel tank hold 21.1 gallons of fuel. 3.2 gallons of which are considered "reserve" by Audi. In this case, reserve would be defined as the fuel left in the tank once the fuel gauge enters the red towards empty...

5000s, i was reading my haynes manual and it said there is a warning light on the autocheck that comes on when it is using the reserve . ok cool. i didnt really think there would be.

just so you never get stranded because you ran out of gas: when the refuel light appears, there is only just over 1 gallon of fuel left. Not 3.1 gallons as you are thinking. Remember the "reserve" is the amount of fuel left once the needle enters the red. Not when the refuel light appears. I'd hate to see someone run out of gas in the middle of nowhere thinking they had 3 gallons of gas left when in fact they only had one.

Com'on Steve, don't be so scientific. I have learned one thing in flying single Cessnas, twin Beech and Audis. The common thread is they all run much better when fuel is above one quarter. He, he!
