Fixed the heat, changed the dash, and changed the cd deck all in one weekend.
It was kind of a pain, feels good to have it done though :-)
my car is happier too. And I'm not freezing anymore!
I still have some shaky shifts sometimes though.. I'm used to automatics. I've driven standard before, just not very often (i never owned one), and they were usually diesels.
I can't wait for quattro to shine in the snow though :-)
Oh yeah - is the ABS unit supposed to make some weird sort of "bvvmm-clunk" when you slam on the brakes, but don't lock them? I've got a feeling something is funny with them. Damn well everything else in the brake system is brand new, ABS unit is all that is left.
