1995 Audi 90 Q Hood latch cable either broke or came undone at the latch??
1995 90Q
Thanks. Duane, MI
the ONLY way I got to it without busting out the grill was the fact that the car had stock headlights and I could pop out the turn signal, if it had RS2's I would have been screwed!
pop out the turn signal, then find the hood release cable. each side of the car (DS and PS) the latch moves toward center to open the hood (IIRC) I then slipped a section of metal fuel line hose over the cable and used the cable to guide the metal hose until it makes contact with the release lever. Then push on the hose and POP, up pops the hood on that side

good luck, I thought I was going to have to bust out my grill as well

If you do, I know where you can get a new one

I did shine the flashlite in the grill and the Condenser sits up high, so I don't think that's a router either.
Yes, I have the orange stock T. Signals, I will follow what you said and give it a try. My Audi is starting to sound like the B5 as everythingelse seems to be giving me trouble like the Rearview Mirror, hood latch, trunk wiring, etc.
