Does this seafoam stuff work well on 20v's? I have to say im a bit scared of it.. any damages ever?

works great one the cars I've done it on
I've used it on my Volvo 8v turbo motor with great success. Really gets rid of carbon and makes the motor rev a bit better. Haven't done it on my CQ yet since I had the head off to be rebuilt and I cleaned the pistons myself.

I used the stuff you 'pour into the carbeurator'...
I pulled a small hose off the intake and let it suck down a can while I modulate the throttle to keep it from stalling...made more smoke than Pompeii, but resulted in smoother idle, faster revs, and felt like it pulled harder...good for 20hp+!! :P

Just doing some maintenance, have a little bit of an idle drop and am going to be cleaning my ISV..
When I started looking through old receipts I got with the car it looks like though I have low miles, they used crummy low grade fuel for atleast 4-5 years prior to me buying the car. Figured anything that can clean off the valves would be worth a shot.
Going to clean up the ISV as well.

I put 1/2 a can through my 20vT
I let the engine sip the Seafoam a little at a time through a vaccum hose that comes off the intake manifold. It ran rough, but it kept idling. Then I dunked the whole pickup tube into the Seafoam in an attempt to stall out the engine. It ran rough but it wouldn't stall! (Maybe this means I have alot of vaccum leaks?)
So with the pickup tube still deep in the Seafoam, I went and shut off the ignition. Let the car sit for 15 minutes as prescribed.
I hooked the vac. line back up and started the engine. It did puff a bit of white smoke, but I never got that "fog up the whole neighborhood" effect. I also noticed alot of wisps of white smoke coming out of my exhaust manifold and wastegate dump tube--I got some exhaust leaks =).
Overall... I didn't really notice any difference after Seafoaming.
