Default Hard start problem...

Why does the car have trouble starting sometimes. It doesn't take more then one try or anything and I don't have to ever pump the gas to start it. It just seems like it doesn't want to start up right away. It takes a bit longer untill it turns over and fires up it seems like. Thats all, and thanks for any help.

Peace, Thomas

Default Check loss of fuel pressure between starts.

Hook a fuel pressure tester to the car, run, and then let it sit. See if your residual pressure drops. Could be losing fuel pressure when it sits, causing the pump to have to work a bit harder at first on start-up, so the injectors aren't shooting enough fuel until pressure is build back up, which is usually a few to several seconds. Just a thought.
