Lamda sensor testing help please?
How would a properly working car behave when the lamda sensor is disconnected and you take a drive? Should this problem be the same or is there any other way it works?
It would help if you mentioned year and model of car.Driving without lambda sensor would probably cause rough idle and check engine light if applicable.

Now I tested it again, with the sensor disconnected in a different way. I connected the two lead wire, and disconnected the one lead wire. This is because the one lead wire goes to the actual sensor. Then the point is that after this operation the car runs much better. No stuttering, and I suspect that the mixture is much more rich, and the engine instantly responds to my will. The two lead wire is probably a preheater, and the one lead is the one actual sensor wire?
