Need Help Bad!!!
1995 Audi 90 sport quattro...
Car turnsover doesn't complete start. It even Jumps out when starting in 1st gear but doesnt't completely start. Windows dont roll down. I changed every fuse and relay under the hood and I even changed the ecm/ecu. Anyone who might have an idea pls help. Thanks in advance.

I was on the 12v.org site about 20 times before I realized that the codes could be clicked for more information

Ignition Output 1, 2, or 3.
Possible Cause
•Short to positive (B+) or ground in the ignition output stage and/or wiring connection between the ECM and the power output stage
•ECM is faulty
Possible Effects
•Engine does not start
•Loss of power
•Engine runs rough
Corrective Steps
•Check and repair circuit wiring
•Check inputs and outputs of ignition output stage

Also, make sure that you are getting all the codes. Some older model ECU's require you to momentarily short the two pins to go on to the next code if there are more than one. Supposedly it's only on the 92 and 93's but you mentioned that you changed the ECU - possibly the replacement is an older model.

would be the first place to start if you've looked over all the wiring.When you say the windows don't go down, do you mean when you turn the ignition on the windows don't operate? When you turn the ignition on do you get any lights at the dash.
Ignition switches on these cars are known trouble makers.Make sure you replace with an oem one. It should cost around 40 bucks if you do decide to replace it.
