Please Help - 94 90cs q won't start
Hello,
Here is the story. I shut the car off at an ATM, and it never started again. I checked for power at the fuel pump and got nothing. I checked for power at the fuel pump relay, and got nothing. I pulled the pump and bench tested it, and it works fine. I pressure tested it, and got about 85lbs. I jumped power to the relay from the battery, and the pump runs, and I have fuel at the rail, but it still won't start. I sprayed starting fluid in the intake and it fires right up. It seems to me that the injectors are not getting a signal to open or something like that. Can anyone point me in the right direction? The next thing I was thinking of doing is pulling the ECU out, and replacing that. HELP! And, thanks in advance!.

No, I haven't pulled the codes, and don't even really know how to. I have a friend that is a real mechanic (as opposed to me - a fake one) who is going to give me a hand tomorrow.

Got it running. Replaced the ECU, and it fired right up. What a strange thing, but that is what we love about our Audi's! hahahah!
Got the ECU from a junkyard for 180. Is that a good price?
