Nice bump in power over stock, fattens up the mid range substantially, over 13whp increase with just the chip.

http://www.034motorsport.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_109&products_id=1405 3</a

Default That's for the 12v Hitachi ECU, not the 20v.

The 20v Hitachi ECU has always been chipable. TAP had a B.S. chip (search on it) some years ago, ABT (I think that's it) in Germany has had a chip for many years, and a guy out of the UK I think developed his own chip about 3 yrs ago. There's atleast a couple other company's who have doen it too. It's been done.

A real 12v chip for the Hitachi ECU does not exist as far as I know. Now the Bosch ECU (Europe only?) for the 12v is a differant story...

Default Yep, the 12v Hitachi ECU is the one that can't be chipped.

I know that the 20v ECU is a Hitachi, I've had it out before. There's 10vt Hitachi ECU's too. Nobody ever said you couldn't chip those. In fact as you know there's been chips out there for the 10vt's and 20v's for some time now. The 12v AAH Hitachi ECU's are the ones that aren't supposed to be chipable. But maybe that's changed...

Shouldn't be a problem to chip those either, all we need is a car here for a couple days.
