Valve-cover gasket removale - hit a roadblock

I ended up getting it out....lots of torch + slightly larger eazy-out screw and it came nice and easy.
Was working on this project over the easter holiday, unfortunately I hit another road block. Two of the valve cover gaskets pulled the threads with them. Not sure how this happened, but apparently the aluminum is very soft. In any event, I had to tap two of the bolt holes up to a M7x1.0 size. Now, for some reason which I'm not really sure why, a metric 7 size bolt is very, very uncommon. No local stores, not McMastar, not Fastnall'....
This sucks big time.
