Hi guys,
i am struggling with retrofitting the garage door opener system on my 08 a3 8p.
I have sun visor 8P1 857 551 C and module 8E0 909 551. Wiring was made by myself as per ELSA (attached).
SUN VISOR PINOUT:
1 - illuminated vanity mirror
2 - gnd
3 - goes into homelink module pin 2
4 - terminal 15
5 - J519 - T16a/5
6 - J519 - T12c/12
MODULE PINOUT:
1 -
2 - TO sun visor pin 3
3 - GND
4 - terminal 15
Button's illumination is working as expected, but the led doesn't react to button click.
Do you see any mistake made regarding wiring? Both modules the sun visor and homelink module are second hand, so i can't be sure they are working.
I couldn't find any related codings and/or adaptations.
Am I the only one to retrofit this (probably doesn't working correctly) system?
Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, so your car door works, you have room for your car in the garage. The remote control can open and close the door successfully.

my setup is described in my first post. What else do you need to know regarding homelink? As far as I know, there isn't any other related to this "system" module.
And i can not use GARAGE DOOR OPENER (or HomeLink) that i am trying to retrofit on my car simply because it doesn't work? What is unclear?
