Default Missing standard feature "Alarm with tilt sensor" in car

I have a question regarding standard features that are listed on audiusa website but missing in the car. On Audiusa site, there is a feature call "alarm with tilt sensor" listed as standard feature for the A3 vehicles. This feature have been removed on all post 06 build vehicles. Is there anyone else aware of this? I've had an A4 and TT and found this feature great. Now, after taken delivery of my A3. I've notice the button to disable tilt senor was not where the manual have indicated. I've pointed out this issue to my service and sale manager and they were surprised of this. I then called Audi customer relation and after a week of what they called research on this issue. They called and told me that Audi reserve the rights to make changes to there vehicles to improve the quality of there cars, bla, bla, bla... So, now all A3 do not come with alarm and tilt sensor as listed on there current website. I understand this feature is not so big of a deal but what are the rights for the customers? When customers expected something as standard feature then later finds out that it's not installed.
I've been driving Audis most of my life and this little thing is going to make me buy other brand.

...deciding factor when buying a car. Just dosen't make sense to me. If an alarm is that important to you, take your car to an aftermarket installer and have one added.

Default Hey, audiusa.com listed Venetian Violet and Murano as color choices for the 3.2 ...

until about a couple of weeks ago too. The bottom line is web sites have a lot of flat-out wrong information on them. Were you buying the A3 for its awesome "Alarm with tilt sensor" feature? Are you anticipating somebody trying to steal your A3 on a flatbed truck?

It's not just the button. You don't get the sensor at all.

Default ah ok

yeah it's kind of lame if you are expecting to get something and don't- I was bummed about no compass in my mirror like my GTI - I didn't get nav so I have no idea where I am driving now......

I once said I would never buy a VAG product after some issues with my German built GTI and the way VW treated me- I know AUDI is MUCH better though

anyway I bought a lexus and then a Saab and now back to VAG and very happy with the feel

I think the only other mark I would consider is BMW

those X3s look way cool

anyway good luck hope you still enjoy your Audi!

again, I hate to trivialize this issue, it says in my owners manual that there is a tip-sensor and I have none either.......

but, if that really is enough to make you abandon the brand you've been driving your whole life, then there are other issues here............
