I’ve been searching online parts catalogs trying to identify what looks like a seal or some sort of weather stripping. Mine has started splitting. I’ve had no luck.
I finally decided to take a picture. Maybe someone here can identify it. It as though it fits between the outer door skin and thinner door. There are screws along the bottom of the door. Maybe that is how it is held in place.
Unfortunately , the piece is black and the door is black, so it’s hard to make out.

I have the exact same car. Did you ever find the part number or compatible replacement for it? The exact same issue is happening to me on the driver's door (Front Left).

I looked for the part on several Audi dealership parts sites and was unable to find the part. If you happen to find it please let me know.
