New to Audi A3 : question about alignment

Hi,

I got a A3 2007 CPO vehicle. I went and bought 4 new tires Continetial Xtreme Contacts and now i need an alignment. the dealer says 220.00 for an alignment, is that outrageous is there something special/different about Audi Suspension that i should pay that price? I dont want to mess up my car, or new tires, but that price quote is high isnt it?

They charged us (A6) $169 last year and I thought that was high! $220 is one of the most expensive alignments I've ever heard of.

Most AUdi dealers are going to shop-out an alignment to another shop. I'd suggest that you check with somewhere like a full-service tire shop.

Thanks folks, I shopped around to a highly recommended tire shop for $97.67

I paid about $50 when i last did mine just because my car was lowered. Other then that it would of been about $10 bucks less.
