Ryan - I have 8P4 807 285 G - Do you have a detailed pic of what the other part number

I'm thinking of just glueing the plate directly to this one if the other one doesn't offer a much better solution for mounting the plate. For what I'm going to do, I think the plate looks pretty clean on the holder.

8P4 807 285 G requires glue or tape.

I have a different model. much better, slides in.

8P4 807 285 1QP this can be found if you click my signature link, EURO PLATE ADAPTOR.

I don't have any preassembled photos. It comes with 2 parts. 1st item inserts on grill after you remove the filler panel. then you slide in the plate. 2nd item gets screwed on in a similiar fashion to the other fillers, to cover the assembly and plate surround.

btw I'm sorry that you ended up with the glue part. you could 3m and/or glue it, but it would never look as OEM as the one in my photo. trust me, I've had both!!!! any more questions feel free to ask!

edit i found this photo from the ground which shows, it's the same 4 screws holding in the surround. and in the other photo you see that it sticks out a little. which I like. this way it is an extension of the bumper (great for city parking)...
