2019 RS3

Typically, with a redesign, the RS models do not come out the first year, not redesigned until a year or two later. But just a guess. Audi may only have an A3, and S3 in 2020, and RS3 in 2021. All up in the air in my opinion.

I really appreciate the comment but this totally negates the discussion of a new RS3 model in 2020, no?
I realize it’s expensive guesswork but I’m not Audi-funded or endorsed or any way. I’m just a normal bloke looking to buy a car. And whether or not it’s totally redesigned in 18 months matters to me.

Hi Blue Smoke,
So I *finally* got to place my 2019 RS3 order yesterday after months of waiting. From what I understand, Audi just released the 2019 RS3 order guide last week (July 11th or so) here in the US.
The biggest changes I noticed are:
1. The dynamic SPORT package *appears* to be no longer offered (though I'm still trying to confirm this with my dealer's rep). This would mean the loss of the ceramic brakes and the removal of the option to uncap the speed limiter from 155 mph to 174 mph.
2. I believe the dynamic sport package also included the carbon engine cover for 2018 models as well, but I'm neither here nor there when it comes to that.
3. With that said, the direct TPMS is now a standard feature according to the order guide I received *and* the fixed support suspension is an optional item now, not required if you elect to purchase only the dynamic package (which is still available).
The other options - like Driver Assist, the Technology Package, etc. are the same. I'm ordering a custom color myself, so I expect my order to take longer than the usual 5-6 months.

This is really good input. I've already got the 2018 that I'll be picking up later this month for a ED but it's nice to finally hear the main differences.
Thank you for taking the time to fill us in!

Hi new here. I was lucky enough to test drive an RS3 recently and it's really an amazing vehicle. So, I've got a 2018 RS3 on order now! However, I'm wondering about the 2019 model. I did a basic search for the 2019 model but I'm not finding much.
So my questions are:
1. Does anyone know if there will be any changes for 2019?
2. How soon can we order a 2019 model?
TIA

Doesn't look like ceramic brakes will be an option any longer.

My friend at the dealer said they haven't given him pricing yet, but with many of the previous options now being standard is assume a higher msrp? He says he would let me know when gets more information on them, he said at least a few weeks probably.
