Audi A3 - Window Lock?

So, being this first German car, I've noticed that passenger can still open their window when driver's side has the window lock enabled. Is that how it should be? Japanese 4 door car locks all passenger windows whereas in A3 it only locks the back windows. Please confirm. Thanks!

its correct, most european only locks out the controls on the rear door for the rear window. you can still open those windows with the master control.

Weird; prefer that feature to lock all windows. I know i can enable all the windows from driver's side whether that button is enabled or not but not fan of how this works then on this car.
