i am so not a fan of the led trim lights. looks like something you would find on aliexpress or something. light doesn't even extend the entire trim...

am i crazy? surprised they did this on the rs3 and just for those that get that alum trim

I opted for the standard door trim. I think the silver with the pattern looks amazing. I have LED lights in the doors front and back and around the stereo speakers etc... In Canada if you add the carbon, you lose all the LED's in the doors.

You can dim all the LED lights in the cabin. Personally, it looks amazing to me. I have a 2018 Q5 and you can change the LED trim lights to any color. On my RS3 I can dim all the lights and foot well lighting. I would sadly miss this with the Carbon trim.

Talking about lights. I was surprised to see that the doors don't have the active red light reflectors on them, but rather a red piece of plastic reflector with no light. My car has the "AudiSport" LED door lights, but not the red active lights on the doors. I wonder when they made that change. I know that 2017's had the red lights on the doors.

My guess would be to offset the cost of the Audi Beam lights now being offered on 18's. Cost savings that has been all to the norm for NA models!
