Hey all,

I'm brand new to the Audi family and loving it so far. One quick question regarding the audio system. I have noticed that even with the bass cranked all the way up and the treble somewhat down, the bass is quite low. I have yet to look and confirm but I understand there is a subwoofer standard in the base audio system but it must be quite subtle. The audio quality and clarity is very good but there just doesn't appear to be much going on down under about 70hz. It seems odd since every other car I have had was capable of producing unpleasing amounts of bass via their EQ settings.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Hmm, the more I research it looks like my experience is normal and the bass performance just isn't there. Anyone have thoughts on a "bolt-on" solution that can be stored in the trunk? I have a lease and it would be great to just bypass the stock sub until it's time to turn it in.
