2018 Audi RS3 problems/malfunctions
Guys thought it may be useful to have an area (assuming no current thread) to describe any error messages, malfunctions or problems we may have experienced or will in the future.
I had the drivesystem malfunction today while entering a car wash.

My wife drove my car and said she was coming up on a red light while still rolling the light turned green so she decide to give it some gas and thats when she saw something like gearbox malfunction. I have not experienced this myself tho.

Hello - Would you please describe what the exact symptom is and if you get an error or "check engine"? I have a 2017 RS3 and have experienced major jerking when starting from a full stop (like a traffic light or a turn lane) with a warm engine, but no warnings or faults recorded - the Audi tech showed me his diagnostics tool readings. The dealer has been unable to reproduce it and claims no TSB's on the issue, but I get it all the time. Interestingly and though may be unrelated, they've stopped shipments of 2018 due to a major issue being fixed.

2 hours after driving off lot with bew RS3 i reveived a “drive system malfucntion”. Brought it back to dealer and they needed to replace fuel pump and fuel pressure guage. Definitely weird considering i didnt drjve it too hard but fixed within one day and drives fine for now.

I didn't really notice any symptoms. I drove it somewhat hard but not too hard in terms of throttling and cornering as I was playing around and then the light went went. I was 20 mins away from the dealership before driving it back.

I now have 5,200km (3000 miles) with absolutely no issues yet, drive hard frequently. Keep in mind it’s dsg. Dual clutch transmissions can be jerky especially accelerating just after braking (5-20mph) jerking doesn’t necessarily mean something’s wrong

- low or high pressure pump?
- which sensors and quantity of sensors replaced?
- is it possible to see the portion of the work order showing the work performed?
