Floor mats: LLTek's M+S mats v. European Style Audi Rubber mats
I'm getting ready to take delivery of an 08 A3 2.0T, and, wanted to start getting ready with floor mats and cargo mats. What do you all recommend?
Sounds like the Hexomat is the way to go for cargo protection, but what about the floor?
I'm thinking of either (1) the LLTek's M+S mats, (2) the European style Audi rubber mats, or (3) the premium all weather Audi rubber mats.
How do they feel under the shoes?
Currently, I'm leaning more towards the LLTek because they have a carpeted top layer.
How are the rubber mats? Some of them seem to be surprisingly slippery under the rubber soles...
Thanks in advance!

Don't get the premium all weather Audi mats
Unless I"m mistaken, those are the ones I bought from Audi (mail order) and returned, because the rears didn't fit properly. I now have a set of the Euro rubber floor mats on order.

OOOO-A3's write-up of the Euro rubber mats

Euros!
I got the Euros. I had considered the LLTek but they weren't the nicest on the phone.
The Euros also have the benefit of covering that little hump on the passenger side where someones right foot would go. This makes a huge difference in the Winter, trust me.

thanks!
I currently live in SoCal... so hardly any rain and no snow.
I might go for the Euros for the occasional trips where there is rain/snow. I prefer the carpet feeling under my feet though...
Any idea how much the OEM carpet mats for the A3's cost?

Re: thanks!
Don't think you can get the LLTek's any more until they determine if they are going to carry them. Supposedly they are special made for LLTek in Europe and the shipping is expensive since they have to buy so many to even get them. Talked to someone there at length and they told me that there will be a decision made in a couple of months on them. Not taking any pre-orders at this time either. Shame - I was loving them too!

good to know rliddle. Thanks for the info. I decided to go with the Euro rubber mats for when
expect feet to be dirty.
I'll use the OEM carpet mats for most of the time...
Can't wait. I'm scheduled to take delivery of the car next week!
