Default Wet foot wells Audi A3

Audi A3 converable 2016. The roof was left down during a rainstorm and thankfully we have dried everything except the front foot wells. It seems there is a very thick layer of insulation beneath the carpet so when we squash it water comes through the carpet. We can't lift the carpet, it seems, without damage. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this or do we need to go to Audi?

I don't know how to tell you to accomplish it, but you need to get it fully dried out or it is going to mildew and the odor will become intolerable.

The dealer is certainly a possibility. Maybe you can find a local shop that does interior work??
