Haven't seen anything on the forum recently. We are getting rid of the G37 Coupe sometime next year, and I'm leaning toward an S5 Coupe but want to wait until the SC V6 and 7-Speed tranny are available. Love the powertain in the S5 Cab.

Has anyone heard any updates on this?
The S5 coupe will get the supercharged gasoline V6 (replacing the normally aspirated gasoline 4.2L V8, which, of course, is an awesome engine but unnecessary in the S5) and S Tronic DSG transmission (optional, not standard replacing the dinosaur Tiptronic automatic transmission as the optional transmission) in mid calendar year 2011 for model year 2011.5 or in late calendar year 2011 for model year 2012. This is when all vehicles on the B8 platform (which will be renamed B9) will receive a freshening with lots of minor and moderate revisions but NOT a major redesign (just like the B6-renamed B7 in mid calendar year 2005 for model year 2005.5).
Anybody that says that all of the above is not going to happen anytime soon (and especially anybody that says all of the above is never going to happen) is dead wrong.

I'm not questioning whether you're right or wrong. I've heard these same timeframes (and I believe they are correct). I'm just wondering if you have a source or a link to an article? Otherwise, this is the same rumor that's been running around since the beginning of 2010.
