How is the A5 3.0TDI more economical than the 2.0TDI
Hi,
I am considering buying a 2.0TDI Audi as I thought it would offer better fuel economy than the 3.0TDI version. I drive mainly within London so I presume the "Urban Consumption" would apply.
Looking at the 2.0TDI, the Urban consumption is 49.6mpg.
The 3.0TDI reports that the Urban consumption is 51.mpg.
I don't get why. Could anyone explain this?

This website has many more international A5 TDI as I don't think we have A5/S5 diesels in the U.S.

Thanks. But is there a good reason why a 3.0 litre has better stats for the Urban consumption? As I still correct in saying that a 3.0 litre is nowhere near as economical as a 2.0 litre?
