Well, our 2010 A4 does have the B&O and I can tell you that it does sound a little better but not a huge difference. The B&O sounds a bit more crisp and clear and you can turn it up a bit louder before anything distorts but the difference is not great. The stock system sounds fantastic. The subwoofer puts out good bass....I was out driving the A5 today and finally decided to sit down and tweak all the audio settings to my liking (mainly death metal and hardcore stuff with some drop bass here and there) and I got a really great sound. Can't complain....no regrets.

Thanks for the information ... and I am glad to learn the stock system is (surprisingly) good 
The car I am looking at is in another city, so I can't "demo" the sound system until I travel there.
