Does an A5 Ice Silver metallic count?
At over a year of ownership I still appreciate the 'purity' of the Ice Silver color. Of course darker colors, which I've had, take a high sheen better, but then the Ice Silver looks good even when dusty ("lazy man's coor?" - nah, I'm as **** with this one as any). Some Zaino enhancer atop a fresh coat of wax is jewel like.
I think silver is perfect for Audi's, Porsche's, and M-B (BMW demands Midnight Blue). imho of course.

I'm driving a loaner A4 that's Ice Silver, and I don't like it. A little to forgettable for me--too pallid. I'm going to purchase a 2013 S5 in the next few months, and that color would be at the bottom of my list. Just my humble opinion though.

I do agree it shows the lines off nicely. My first Corvette was a 2005, Machine Silver. Not a favorite color, but it showed the lines of the C6 very nicely.

IMO, Ice Silver isn't a bad looking color, but it is bland. I may be biased, but I think the one of the offered shades of gray offers the same advantage of relatively low maintenance while having more depth. However, it will be your car and comes down solely to personal preference.

I'm a big fan of silver & grey shades. But I also like depth in color, so a light shade like Ice Silver wasn't the way I wanted to go. I found Quartz Grey to have more depth and greater reflective qualities, while still having the ability to "hide" dirt very well.
