which would it be?

I just got a Brilliant Black A5 a couple months ago. Choosing black is my only regret. It shows everything (watermarks, scratches, specs of dust) 5 hours after it's washed. I have had other black cars in the past so I should have known. The difference this time is that I really like this car so the dirty aspect bothers me more than with the other cars. If you want another daily part time job then go black.

If I had to do it again it would be quartz grey.

I chose Deep Sea Blue and love it. Let me add, that I am **** about keeping my cars clean. Since delivery on March 1st, I have washed the car about eight times, quick detailing it after every wash and have waxed it once. On top of that, I have cleaned the wheels inside and out at least a dozen times. The brake dust is beyond belief.

If you're not desirous of putting a lot of effort into maintaining the dark color choices you mentioned, I would go for the Ice silver. Silver is a very popular color in general but not very popular on the A5/S5 for some reason.

Having owned black before, and it is a full time job keeping it clean, I would and did go with quartz grey, and have no regrets about that choice at all.

Deep Sea Blue is the same as Black in terms of maintenance. I like the Blue because it seems to have a lot more complexity to the color depending on the shade of light. It looks navy blue on sunny days, black on cloudy days, and metallic at night. If you go with another color I'd recommend Meteor Gray over the other silvers but this is just a personal preference.

Believe it or not, the brake dust is going to be a bigger issue in terms of cleanliness because for some reason the A5 brakes like to generate a sandstorm of dust on the wheels. Literally the wheels will look dirty after 1-2 days after cleaning them. It's ridiculous.

Of the three choices silver without a doubt. It looks good and is super easy to keep clean. With a more common car I might think another silver of that modle would be seen every 5 minutes or so, but the A5/S5 being so relatively rare (still) I do not see that as a problem. Also, I just like silver, always have.

No denying that the black requires a great deal from the owner to keep clean. But if you have the means/dedication to do so...NOTHING beats it!
Black was really the only color I considered, (being in the car wash business may have had something to do with that) but I do love it and really don't mind the extra handwashing every once and a while.
If you're not going to clean it very often, don't get black, it really does show everything and theres few things worse than a dirty awesome car!

If I had to do it all over again, it would be Deep Blue Sea Pearl.

Phantom Black is gorgeous but does shift quite often.. I've seeing it black, grey, purpple.. you name it! Deep blue Sea Pearl shifts too but that blue has a nicer accent.
