RS5 Grille.... Gun Metal or Black on a Black S5?
I am debating on the color of the RS5 grille... Gun Metal or Black?
I have a Brilliant Black S5....
Or should I just paint my S5 grille a black?
Here are some pictures from other owners.....

For a Phantom or Brilliant Black, I would stick with either the black RS5 grille or the black S5 grille. Ditto for Sprint Blue.
If it were a Daytona Gray or one of the silvers, I would go with the gun-metal. It would be debatable which would look better on an Ibis White S5.
I can't really speak for the other colors as I haven't seen enough of them around (except for Meteor Gray) with either the stock or Ti Package grille.
Anyway... that's my preference.

It makes sense.. but it is weird.. the 2nd picture... the black S5....the owner states that's a gun metal finish... but It looks "black" to me... perhaps, I am color blind or something...
I will probably go with Black...

I'm guessing that the black is a bit darker and has a shinier finish, while the gunmetal is more matte-like. I agree that there isn't much of a difference, but that can be due to two different cameras with two different auto white-balance settings.

Just purchased the S5 black grille

I really appreciate your feedback. I decided on the S5 Black Grille...
I found it on ECS Tuning.... I considered buying it from Europrice and other European stores but the wait time will be longer.
It might have been a little more expensive, but I have peace of mind. ECS Tuning has a 1-3 days for processing and they are located in Ohio. So shipping is faster! In case there was a problem or return, it would be easier to return to Ohio than to overseas.

By the way, I heard some bad stories of guys trying to paint it... the paint still peels off even though it was done by professionals! so I opted to just purchase a new one.

No, I tried the grey S5 grille on Quartz grey and looked terrible. I kept wondering why the S5 grille looks nice on other cars except mine. the problem was that the Grille Colour blended to well with the rest of the carleaving the chrome vertical lines standing out too much. See photo..every uglier on a sunny day
