I am trying to install a remote starter for my car. Has anyone done it btw? Would it cause any issue? I am using Fortin Aud2 with T harness

Its a little tricky, but just be patient... Dont try to muscle it out... At some point, some combination of the turning as indicated in Step B above will just magically come out. Also, putting it back is just as tricky. Just be patient and it will eventually work.
