'04 allroad Central Locking Issue

'04 allroad Central Locking Issue

When locking and unlocking the car via the 2 remotes, I have the following problems.
Remote #1 - all functions work properly, except the alarm no longer chirps when locking the car.
Remote #2 - all functions work properly, except the alarm no longer chirps when locking the car... and the seat / mirror settings attached to this remote do not activate when unlocking the car.
Any input appreciated on this small issue.

Is the remote supposed to change the seat settings? I've never heard of that.

Yep.... or at least it did that for the first 5 years!

We promised we wouldn't spam and aw said they would not eliminate.

So if there is someone on another forumwho can help this poster, then by al means we can rationally tell Jermaster that he may have luck finding the answer with a poster on www.quattroworld.com

Thank you, Paul, as I was not aware of the change and still upset from the last time I checked in here and made an actual helpful suggestion only to find myself "blanked" out.
