advice please
I am very nearly about to install my nav system, and I've gotten so few responses about where to mount a screen (not the flip out type). I am trying to find a suitable place to mount it, so if you could describe or show me pics, I would be greatly obliged. Sorry if I've asked before, but I've been getting minimal response. Thanks

Sorry but I've never done this so I cannot give an opinion as to location. Those who have a nav.
system ordered it with the car IMO. I assume yours is aftermarket. It appears you may be the "guinea pig" for this installation. Good luck with your install. Please post pictures and info. when your done.

A good friend of my family recently added an aftermarket navigation system to his s8, it was done by Phantom Electronics, they created a custom wood piece to replace the center counsel, they removed the as tray, and shifted teh controlls around, mounted the kenwood deck, the touch screen lcd (really nice 10" widescreen display) instilatin looked beter then factory, and the sysytem works well from what I have heard. I will try and get pictures tonight, the car should be at the party tonight.
