allroad spare tire

allroad spare tire
Hi,
I've heard conflicting stories about the spare tire. Some say the allroad comes with a full spare and others say no it does not.
Some say that what you gets comes with an air pump? Confused at best. Assume any vehicle that has off-road capability would have a full size spare fully inflated?
Thanks

Re: allroad spare tire
The spare is an inflatable spare on a Ronal stock wheel to get you to a repair.
I had a flat in the first few days of ownership up in the hills. The instructions, jack, compressor and all are very easy to manage, but you must lock up the air suspension first (push button instructions in the manual). Worked out fine.
I've heard that a full spare does not fit in the well.. but am not so sure, it would be very tight. Nevertheless, I would not want to be far in the boonies(where I don't go anymore)without a full spare but back roads even with heavy ruts, no problem with the inflateable.
Incidently, let the air out and the tire collapses right back to its stowing shape, amazing.
