allroad tire

As rare as it is I got a staple in the sidewall of my tire. What should I be paying for a new one? The goodyear tire is $177 on tirerack.

Thoughts?

I had to replace one the other day at NTB (National Tire & Battery, owned by Sears). The OEM Pirelli was $185 plus installation.

I have a couple used Goodyear Allroads with 8000 miles. $100 plus shipping from 80209.

I just got one from the local goodyear for $175. Sucks though because I would have taken your deal.

I've had my ar nine months; three flats with oem goodyears (27k); 1st was a sidewall, second was on the tread; speed destroyed the sidewall, third was middle of thread. My deal handled the replacement of the first two @ about $ 190 install, therfore w/o the Tireracks shipping costs.

So much for the special offroad character of the tires.
