auto-leveling problem
The console has the flashing yellow auto-leveling light, and it doesnt stop. I have tried manual mode, and automatic mode. I set it to 2 (normal), and the 2 green leds blink constantly, and the height doesnt change.
I have a mechanic looking at it, but he isnt familiar with this type of system. According to him, the compressor isnt getting power. The fuses in the box are good. Is there a power relay, or secondary fuse for this system?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Jeremy
you probably have the compressors in a junked ar or anything else you need. You just need a mechanic who speaks fluent VAG.
Unless you can find an independent garage with the right tools, you should tow it (on a flatbed) the nearest Audi dealer THIS ONE TIME!
fault codes (DTCs). On my 2002 Allroad there were two different
leveling sensor failures one of which prevented the compressor
from operating. You can do everything you need with a VAG-COM. Also if you go to VW Vortex you may ber able to find VAG-COM owners that may be willing to help for little or no cost. The Allroad's suspension is complex but can be repaired by owner's if you can scan the control units and understand the system design.
However the cost of Audi OEM new parts will be high--my 3 new leveling sensors cost about $450.00 and weigh about 1 lb!
