Blue Puddle
I had an odd problem with my allroad this past Saturday. When I went to put some stuff in the back I noticed a huge puddle of blue liquid on the floor at the rear of my car. To make a long story short, the allroad dumped all of its windshield washer fluid on the floor. I was unable to locate from where though.
Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Seriously... Did you by any chance have any radical changes in weather in your area? Dunno if the windsheild washer fluid reservoir is air tight, but if it is I suppose negative pressure (caused by a low moving thru your ara) outside your vehicle could have forced the fluid to exit via the back window washer spout.
I guess it would all depend on the fluid resovoir being air tight or not. Interesting thoery.
Thanks,
Gavin
Will give it a day or so to see.

not convinced (and heading to the track in 2 days) i asked them to raise the car with someone at the wheel who started the engine, turned on the lights and pumped the washers. a gush came from under the left front, eventually identified as a cracked pump housing. once replaced no one suggested the weather was a problem. i'm not suggesting rear washers don't dribble occasionally with extreme temp changes, and i don't know where the rear pump is located but it's an easy thing to check...
cheers
