cleaning the rubber bumpers

what is the best stuff to use to clean up the rubber bumpers? no matter what I do, they still look a shabby, wash-out gray. Goodness knows why audi thought it was a good idea.

Allroad? They are painted, just like the rest of your car

You need to wash, wax, polish, clay, whatever just like the rest of your car. Dont put Armour All on them.

yeah: allroad. but they have the sucky rubberized finish, not paint. i wish i'd known when we got it, that some allroads have painted bumpers.

no they are either painted or the plastic is the color you are seeing. There is no rubber coating. Any good clear works. Just don't don't use a polish, unless you want them to shine a bit.

oh right. rubber..plastic...whatever!

so anything but polish. cool.
