Climate control replacement

After switching out my climate control the center display on my instrument cluster doesnt display anything now. Is it a programming issue, something I can fix with VAG com?

Couple of questions;
What was wrong with your old CCU?
What did you pull the replacement CCU from?
Have you checked to see if it is coded for your car?
Did you run a "basic functions" test?
