Default Coding a new key?

I purchased a second key for my wife's '03 allroad. I programmed the key fob portion and the key is already cut for the car, but I understand I need to now align the key with my car b/c of the computer chip inside the key. I realize the dealer can do it, but is this also something I can do myself? If so, please help or point my in the right direction.
Also, replaced the brake light switch today, I'm crossing my fingers that this will solve my 3-light syndrome.
Thanks!

Go to the Rosstech wiki - unless you have the security code and VAGCOM you are out of luck

Default The Immobilizer chip in the key can only be programed by the dealer..more

the process requires a 7 digit pin that only the dealer can request from Audi, and its not to be shared with the owner.

It(the pin number) is only good for the day its issued.

At least thats the procedure described in my elsawin software.
